Batchgeo Part 1

For the first part of the Batchgeo assignment, I along with everyone in the class had to add information into an excel shared google doc sent by our professor.  We had to input our name, and the city and state in which we live in order to later create a google map.  The neatest aspect to this feature is that whoever the document was shared with (my class from professor) was able to go in an edit or input information within the document.  We could work within the document at the same time or different times.  This would be a beneficial tool to use in group work.
This activity goes along with Teaching Standard Function: 4B.  I was engaged in a professional learning community by learning how to share and input information into a google doc.  Working in this type of collaborative setting will enhance my learning and teaching practices.  I learn something new each day in this course!
